CARRAGEENAN KA Type

    Carrageenan KA type that we manufacture is a compound of carrageenan and a little density agent. This special carrageenan formula is a form of food additive for meat products. It works in meat products to effectively strengthen water preservation, improve elasticity and dice function. Therefore improving the quality of the meat, lowering the cost, and achieving remarkable economic benefits.

    We produce two kinds of carrageenan KA type: the rolling-rubbing type and the injection type. Rolling-rubbing type's amount of usage: 0.5 ~ 0.7%. Injection type's amount of usage: 1 ~ 1.8%


    The specification of our carrageenan KA type is as follows:

Gel intensity (1.5%, 20oC) ≥800 g/cm2
Particle size 60-80 mesh
Ash ≤5%
Moisture ≤15%
Arsenic (As) ≤3 mg/kg
Heavy metals (Pb) ≤5 mg/kg
Amount of usage 0.5 - 0.7%
